Deep and true,
Dream sweet dreams,
Of me and you.

If those dreams turn sour,

No matter the hour.
I'll hold our child if she weeps,
And kiss her better till she sleeps,
And if you should wake,
Scared and in tears,
Worry not, I'll be here,
To chase away your fears.
